Reading Lists: December 2019

My favourite thing about the weather turning cold is how socially acceptable it is to snuggle on the sofa under lots of blankets, with a hot drink, and just read. It’s a pity I don’t have more days when I can actually do this, but I relish the ones I do get. And the evenings.

Lucifer Falls, by Colin Falconer – I read a couple of (short) chapters, and though the premise seems good, there’s just something in the writing that kept pulling me up: Sentences which just don’t quite fit together and jar in my brain. Shame.
