2025.15: Bleeding Heart

We don’t currently have much of a garden. We have a yard and various pots with our fruit bushes, a fig tree, and a magnolia in.

Image shows a pink, heart-shaped flower with green leaves.

But there is a thin planter-wall edging the steps up to the yard. It used to have weeds in it, and still has rather a lot of ivy hanging over one end. M removed the weeds, and probably will remove the ivy too, at some point.

And he took Tiny off to choose some new plants for the space he cleared.

We’re still waiting for the orchids and tulips to grow, though they do have shoots poking through the soil, but the plant which Tiny chose, a Bleeding Heart, is extremely happy and has a lovely set of flowers to it.

Must admit, the name didn’t fill me with joy when I first heard it, but I’m happy to say that, actually, it’s a very pretty flower. I can see how it came by its English name. Good choice, Tiny!
